Zoe-perry
Perry is the child of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Perry made her debut in the television screen in the role of Jackie Harris, a character which was played by her mother in Roseanne, an ABC sitcom Roseanne. Perry was forbidden to begin acting in front of her family until she reached an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the anxiety it could result in. Perry says she didn't want to perform in high school, but she decided to begin acting as a social activity while at Northwestern University when she switched to the university from Boston University. Perry left for New York, where she was offered small roles in shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Homesickness then brought Perry back to California, where theater jobs were available. In 2013 she performed in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. In the year 2015, she was alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. Also, she was cast on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. The actress was chosen for the role despite having a close relationship with the character's family.
