Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28th, 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American actor, singer and voice-actor. Ariel was only six when she began acting on commercials for Cool Whip. She landed her first television role at age 7 appearing on an episode of the CBS comedy Listen Up!. The next time she appeared on television, it was in Monk Bones, ER and various other television series. Gretchen was the character she played in 2007 in Disney Original Channel's animated show Phineas and Ferb. Two years later she had her breakthrough live-action character in the role of Alex Dunphy on the hit television series Modern Family. Together with her Modern Family co-stars, she was awarded four Screen Actors' Guild Awards for outstanding performance by an ensemble in the comedy show. Ariel continues to do voice acting in character voices, such as ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel has earned a Purple Black Belt in Taekwondo.
